On the value of the detailed, valued list you provide, so it pays to declare each item at a realistic value.
Does insurance cover an appliance that will not turn on at arrival?
No: the policy covers physical damage and loss, not whether appliances work.
Can I pack jewelry in my move?
Leave it out: the insurance does not cover it. Jewelry, cash and documents should travel with you.
