International fine art and antiques shipping

Every piece has its own needs. We build crating to fit it, against impact and vibration, and handle the paperwork artwork needs to leave or enter the country.

Fine art

Moving Services crates and ships paintings, sculptures and antiques with packing built to each piece, handles export and import paperwork, the Ministry of Culture permit when a work requires it, and international insurance.

How we protect each piece

  • Custom-built crating against impact and vibration.
  • Handling by staff trained on delicate pieces.
  • Constant supervision during loading, transit and delivery.
  • International insurance on the declared value of the work.

Artwork paperwork

Taking a work out of Colombia may require authorization from the Ministry of Culture, depending on its nature and age. We review the case, obtain the permit when needed and file the export or import through our own customs broker.

We work with partner airlines and carriers and a worldwide agent network for delivery at destination.

Questions about fine art

Do I need a permit to take artwork out of Colombia?

It depends on the work. Some need Ministry of Culture authorization; we review and obtain it when it applies.

Do you ship a single piece or only collections?

Both: from one piece to full collections, within a move or as a separate shipment.

Does art travel in the same container as my move?

It can, in its custom crate, or separately by air if the piece warrants it.

Is the artwork insured?

Yes, with international insurance on the value you declare.
