Container via Veracruz or Manzanillo
Chosen by destination city to shorten trucking inside Mexico.
Executives, families and students move between Colombia and Mexico in both directions. The key document is obtained here, before shipping: the certified household goods list.

To import household goods into Mexico with tax benefits you need a consular certificate of your household goods list, issued only by the Mexican consular office in the country where you lived; if you are leaving Colombia, that is the Mexican Embassy in Bogotá. Permanent residents import duty-free, temporary residents under temporary import, and a Mexican customs broker is always involved.
For Mexico City and central Mexico we usually arrive at Veracruz from the Caribbean; for Guadalajara or the Pacific coast, at Manzanillo from Buenaventura. There is no direct land route: the Darién Gap has no road.

For students or one-room moves.
For urgent items, documents and essentials.
Mexico applies different rules depending on your immigration status and requires its consulate to certify your list before shipping.
For people returning from Mexico City, Monterrey or Guadalajara, our agent collects and the container leaves from the most convenient Mexican port to Cartagena or Buenaventura, where our own customs broker clears it.
How moving to Colombia works“Goods handled with care, clean work, excellent staff, very fast and efficient. I have no complaints at all.”
At the Mexican Embassy in Bogotá. It must be issued by the consular office of the country where you lived and from which the goods ship.
Not as part of household goods. Vehicles follow a different regime and should be reviewed separately.
Your goods enter under temporary import for the duration of your status, instead of the definitive relief for permanent residents.
There is no road across the Darién Gap, so moves travel by sea or air.
